Academic Visits
Sakura Science Program (SSP)
Osaka Metropolitan University, Japan (Dec 12th-26th, 2022)
In December 2022, I was selected for a 15-day intensive research exchange in Japan, funded by the prestigious Sakura Science Program (SSP) travel grant from the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). This program served as a deep dive into the intersections of human-computer interaction and advanced signal processing. My time was split between high-level academic collaboration—including meetings with Prof. Masakazu Iwamura at Osaka Metropolitan University and Prof. Ganesh N Pandian at Kyoto University’s ICeMS—and immersive cultural experiences. From exploring cutting-edge laboratories to visiting the historic heights of Mt. Koya, this exchange provided a unique platform for both technical growth and international research synergy.
